Central Dogma Project: Replication, Transcription& Translation
Develop a poster of DNA twenty nucleotide pairs long using all four nucleotides. You must show and identify the template and complement strands. You must pair each nucleotide according to Chargaff's rules of base pairing. Show the two strands being held together by the appropriate hydrogen bonds, you must show all three components of each nucleotide. All Parts Must be Clearly Labled.
Secondly you must use the template strand to synthesize a new strand of RNA. Make sure you start with using the codon for Methionne (AUG) must correctly apply Chargaff's rules of base pairing and include the enzymes responsible for the breaking of bonds. Then use this RNA molecule to make the appropriate protein associated with this new nucleotide sequence. Use the Genetic Code to assist in selecting the appropriate amino acids to make the protein. Each protein should be 6 amino acids long, make sure you start with
