The AFHC Club Members created a campaign to raise awareness among their peers on the harmful effects of tobacco products (i.e. e-cigarettes and vaporizers). Throughout the school year, the AFHC Members received training in team-building, communication, project management, and public speaking to be empowered to become future leaders who will advocate for their communities. The students prepared to participate in a Student-Led Conference at LMU. At the conference, the students were supposed to meet other AFHC members from other campuses, make presentations about their anti-vaping awareness campaigns, generate new ideas for future campaigns, and participate in a college tour. Unfortunately, the conference was canceled due to Covid 19. Please check out the video our Crenshaw Cougars created.
