Memoir The 74 Crenshaw bball team pulled into fremont high. We were greeted at the bus by a crowd of gang member. Mo Duck grabed his bag and noded to me to roll out. I got my bag and stood at the door behind him. We looked back at the team and everyone got in line. Willie West noded to the driver to open the door. We walked throw the crowd with our heads held high. The Shaw and Fremont had bad blood. For the first time no fans came to our game. The game was close, and bows were flying! We were hit with hot pennies and paper clips from the stands. One of the Shaw players got cut by a clip. All hell broke lose! Both sides broke into a fight! Fans rushed at us from the stands. We were rushed into the locker room. 1 hour later they rushed us to the bus and gang members rocked the bus with bottles and bricks. That was the day our team came together! We killed every team so we could play Fremont for the crown! At Polly our fans came out in full force! I played my best game of the year breakin Fremonts heart as we took the title!Now thats real cougar pride!!!!!!
