GUITAR SH A/B 2015/16 (Period 3)
Course Description
The major emphasis of this course is to develop student achievement through beginning study of the guitar. The course develops the physical skills necessary to play beginning level music accurately and with good tone quality, develops skills in reading music notation, and develops an understanding of the historical significance of the guitar and its literature. The course also provides opportunities for growth in the understanding of musical elements as applied to the music played.
El mayor énfasis de este curso es desarrollar los logros del estudiante a través de comenzar el estudio de la guitarra. El curso desarrolla las habilidades físicas necesarias para jugar a partir de la música de nivel con precisión y con buena calidad de sonido, desarrolla habilidades en la lectura de la notación musical, y desarrolla una comprensión de la importancia histórica de la guitarra y su literatura. El curso también ofrece oportunidades de crecimiento en la comprensión de los elementos musicales que se aplican a la música que se reproduce.
