English 10 A/B (Period 6)

Course Description

English 10A/B includes common core standards-based instructional components that focus on narrative, persuasion, exposition, and literary analysis writing. It integrates the skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. English 10A/B promotes Crenshaw High School by developing students who are communicators, critical thinkers, and persons of character, which are our Expected School-Wide Learning Results (ESLRs). Students will experience an introduction journey in high school literature through the genres of poetry, short story, drama, novel and mythology.
