AP Biology (Period 7) Assignments

AP Biology is both a challenging yet fun course! It is the equivalent to a two semester college introductory biology course. The class is conducted at the college level and students will be held to high expectations and mature responsibilities. AP Biology differs significantly from a traditional high school biology course due to text content, depth of material covered, lab work, and time and effort required to achieve mastery in the subject area. Students in AP Biology will only succeed if they realize and appreciate the college level of this course. It is expected that all students will have read the material that is being discussed BEFORE coming to class. Most of the assignments in this course involve reading the material in the text. Best understanding of the material will only occur when the student has read the material and then discussed it in class. This class requires dedication and an immense amount of study time. Please strive to do your best! You will get out of the class only what you are willing to put into it!
