PAPER FOR FINAL IS DUE!!! Students will turn in their paper for the final examine on June 10th, 2005, a Friday. No paper will be accepted late.

All Make Up Work Due!!!!!! This is the due date for all make up work for the spring 2005 semester. I will be needing a PRC of the days you were absent to class in order to grade your work. Please note that any work turned in after this date will not be accepted and graded. Remember you cannot pass my class without taking and passing the test. Therefore, take and pass the test. Africa Vocabulary. Africa vocabulary will be due on 5/27/05. Students will recieve a copy of the Vocab. sheet on May 2 and will have time to work on and complete it by the due date. Just click on the link below to receive your own copy of the vocabulary.

African Test. For the African test, please click on the two links below. One of the links will tell you what is required and the other is the designs you must print out in order to complete the assignment. If you cannot download the design, your student may pick some copies up before class starts or after school. Good luck. This will be due 6/2/05.

California State Testing. 9th-11th grade students at Crenshaw High School will be taking the California State Test from May 17-19. For my students they are requried to be present and complete the during this week. For those who are present and complete the test will earn extra credit. There will be no assignments during this week because of testing, but each student will be required to work on their final.

P. 223 Questions 1-4. After a lecture, students will do for homework the questions from page 223 1-4.

World War II Test! This test was given to all students who were in class on Friday the 29th to work on and complete. The students will have until the 6th of May, which is a Friday, to turn in the test. Therefore, the students had a total of 7 days to complete the test. Good luck students. Journal Check #3. Students must have completed the following journals by the due date.

Journal #11--What are the similitaries between Hilter's, Mussolini's, and Salin's policy for their government? Students may use notes or textbook to complete the answer.

Journal #12--D-day video notes. Students on April 15 watch a video about D-Day (June 6, 1944) and were required to take one full page of notes. If student is absent he/she may come in during lunch and after school to watch the 50 minute video.

Journal #13--1. In English, write about what you did after school. 2. Using what you wrote about in #1, design a code that nobody knows a write the some message in that code. 3. Give me a blue print of your code=how did you come up with that code. (4/21/05)

Journal #14--Take a full page of notes, front and back, of the movie titled Navajo codetalkers video. For those students absent, must come in after school to watch the video. (4/22).

Journal #15--Rain of Ruin Video. Take 1 page of notes, Front and Back, about the maing of the Atomic Bomb. For those students absent, must come in after school to watch the video. (4/27/05)

Journal #16--Discuss what you know about the History of Africa? (5/02/05)

World War II Vocabulary. Click on the link below to get a copy of the WWII vocabulary terms. Follow the directions and turn them in by the due date to recieve full credit.

WWII Quiz. A quiz will be given to all students who attend class. This quiz covers everything we have study since the first day of WWII. Those students who are absent will take the quiz either at lunch or after school the day they come back. If absent students do not take the quiz will receive a zero grade.

P. 392 Questions #1-4. After a lecture on the material about the Pacific Theater, students were assigned questions 1-4 on page 392 to complete in class and for homework.

P. 388 Questions #1-5. Students were given the following page number and questions to complete after a lecture dealing with the material. Students need to write the question and answer them in complete sentences. All answers are either located in their textbook or notes.

Hitler and the Rise of Nazi Germany Lecture and Questions. These questions will be given to the students after receiving a lecture about Facism in Italy. Those students who are absent, they can read the section and then do the questions. I require all my students to take notes in the section and to write and answer each question in complete sentences. The questions are located on the following pages 367 #1-5.

Journal Check #2. The students Journal will be checked to day. The following journal entries should be in the student's journal.

Journal #5--If you havd a chance to change the current society, poor, middle, and rich classes, to a classless society like Communism, what steps would you take? Describe your steps and explain why you did those particular steps. (3/3/05)

Journal #6--Red Nightmare Notes (3/4). Students must come in during lunch or after school to view this video.

Journal #7--Describe what life is like in a totalitarian state? (3/10/05)

Journal #8--Explain what you did over the Spring Break? (3/28/05)

Journal #9--What things cause a person to do bad things? List and explain your choices. (4/4/05)

Journal #10--Explain everything you know about Hitler. (Name, birthday, what he did during his lifetime, etc...) (4/5/05)

China and Japan before 1945 Vocabulary and Notes. All notes and Vocabulary terms are due on this day. A test will be given on everything that is covered. If a students is absent, they are required to make up all test during lunch or after school.

Binder Check. The student's binder will be checked for assignment sheet, if completed, homework, and notes taken in my class. Everything should be orgainzed and in order to receive full credit. Those students who are absent must present their binder to teacher either during lunch or after school.

Russian Revolution Vocabulary and Notes. Just click on the link below to get yourself a copy of the Russian Revolution Vocabulary. These Vocabulary terms are due before you take the Test. They can all be found in chapter 11.

Russian Revolution Test. The Russian Revolution test will be given to the students in class. Those students missing the test due to illness will be able to make up the test on their return. Good Luck

Stalin's Purges and "The Show Trails." Students read this article in class from March 2-3. Once the class finished reading the article, each student was required to write down and answer each of the questions. If a student is absent, the student needs to come in during lunch or after school to read, take notes, and answer the questions from the article. Article will not be given out for personal use.

Journal #3--What do you think the main point of the Communist Manifesto was and what did your section talk about? (2/25).
Journal #4--(3/1) Have you or somebody you know ever been falsely accused of something you did not do? Explain what happened, how did you or somebody you know felt about it, and what was the results.
