The Math Department at Crenshaw High School hosts their 1st Annual Pi Day Event! Thank you to the Math Department and Ms. Ashford for all your hard work and planning!!
Congratulations to Gladys Balogun! She won a 50 dollar gift card to Amazon for memorizing the most digits of Pi. She was able to remember over 80 digits of Pi.

Students had a great time in experimenting with the law of conservation of momentum in Physics lab (Period 6). They, in group of four, measured weights of their cars, and used timers and scales to check the velocity of a moving car when it hits the other stationary car. They calculated the total momentum before and after the collision and discussed their results.
