Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship

Opens: Now Due: 9/27/19 Available to: High School Freshmen through Graduate Students, Year 5 Award Amount: 4 Awards of $1,000 The Don't Text and Drive Scholarship is available to high school, undergraduate or graduate students. You must be U.S. citizen or legal resident and complete a short statement on why you pledge not to text and drive in order to qualify for this award. Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship

Opens: 11/1/19 Due: 1/27/20 Available to: Graduating seniors who plan to attend college. Award Amount: Up to $30,000 over 4 years. You may apply for the scholarship if you haven’t been accepted to a college yet. Karen Hanson Memorial Scholarship

Opens: Now  Due: 11/30/19 Available to: College Freshmen through Graduate Students, Year 5 Award Amount: $350 The Karen Hanson Memorial Scholarship is open to students pursuing studies in literature. You must also submit an essay of at least 250 words in response to the following prompt: Life is full of challenges and struggles, and one of the great things literature can do is help us move through and past them with humor. In 250 words or more, describe how an education in Literature can help us move through life with greater joy. Women in Science Environmental Scholarship

Open: Now  Due: 12/01/19 Available to: Female High School Freshmen through College Seniors Award Amount: $500 The Women in Science Environmental Scholarship is available to female high school or college students, with preference given to those who are choosing to pursue a science degree. You must demonstrate financial need, and submit a one-page essay that demonstrates an idea you have for helping improve the environment, either global or locally using Drone Technology to be eligible for this award. PROM Pics Contest Scholarship

Open: Now  Due: 12/01/19 Available to: High School Juniors through High School Seniors  Award Amount: $250 The Prom Pics Contest is open to high school students. To be eligible, you must submit a high resolution photo from your prom event. Prizes will be awarded in each of the following categories: promposal, pre-prom, prom dance, and post-prom. Gold Medal Portfolio Award

Available to: High School Seniors – College Freshmen Deadline: Varies Award Amount: 16 up to $10,000 The Gold Medal & Silver Medal Portfolio Award is open to graduating high school seniors. You must submit a portfolio of eight distinct art or written works that exemplify originality, technical skill and personal voice in order to be considered for this award. Art portfolios must communicate a single cohesive idea or visual investigation and written portfolios must demonstrate versatility and diversity in writing technique and style.
